As well as being a comic book artist, Vince is a former music educator with nearly two decades of experience as a teacher and designer in the marching arts. Serving California's Central Valley, Bay Area and Southern California, Vince has taught music and visual performance to various junior high and high school marching bands, winter drumlines, indoor winds and concert ensembles, and has worked with WGI Independent Drumlines and DCI Drum Corps, as well.

In his career, Vince had the pleasure of being the visual caption head for the WGI 2010 Fan Favorite and multiple finalist Los Banos High School. Vince served as the acting brass caption head for the Sacramento Mandarins in 2009 and joined the brass staff for Pacific Crest in 2015.

Vince has since 'retired' from the marching arts to focus on comics, but does remain active as a visual judge for SJVCGPR, CVGPC, PPAACC and SVWAA.
